Ministry & the Liturgical Assembly:The Mission of and Care for the Worshiping Body of Christ

Sponsored by All Saints Catholic Parish

Do we truly understand what it means for us and for the world, that we are members of the worshiping Body of Christ? And do those who serve in the various liturgical ministries view their roles as support and care for the liturgical assembly and its mission? Come to this series on liturgy and liturgical ministry, which will explore the depth and richness of our liturgical identity and mission as members of Christ’s Body, and the power and spirituality of sharing one’s ministerial gifts in service to the assembly.

Bereavement Support

December 08, 201910:00 AM - 11:30 AMNovember 24, 2019 through December 08, 2019, Every Sunday Add to Calendar

You are invited for Bereavement Support.

St. Paul Catholic Parish is offering three sessions for people who are grieving the loss of a loved one to help one move through the grieving process.  Please allow us to nourish you, pamper you, and empower you, all offered in a loving environment.  We, St. Paul’s Bereavement Committee, believe that as we are supportive of people in times of joy, we also want to walk with those in times of sadness, loneliness and mourning, and help them bear their burden of sorrow.

Three sessions are planned for Sunday mornings in the Family Room from 10:00 – 11:30am.

The facilitators will be Cathy Labinski, a retired hospice chaplain, and Mary Kingsley, a Eucharistic Minister who visits the homebound.

  • On November 24th, an overview of the grieving process will be presented.
  • On December 1st, we will focus on how to take care of oneself as one moves through the grieving process.
  • On December 8th, ideas will be shared on how to get through the holidays which are just around the corner.

Light refreshments will be served, so please RSVP to St. Paul Parish Office at 262-968-3865 to help us plan appropriately – or just come.  We want to help you walk through the holidays without your loved one.

St. Paul Parish is in Genesee Depot at the intersection of Hwy D and Hwy 83.
