This High School Theology Curriculum is intended to guide our important ministry with High School Students in both Catholic High Schools and parish faith formation programs.
The intent is to identify key religious education concepts high school age youth and to articulate these in competence-based language. The document outlines content in the areas of scripture, creed, justice & morality, liturgy and prayer, and the history of our church; and it describes learning objectives in terms of enduring understanding, working knowledge, and reflective awareness.
It is our hope that this High School Theology Curriculum will help identify what is to be learned and lived as our young people share the treasure of our faith on their journey of being disciples of Christ.
