Faith-a-Thon

Faith-a-Thon is an annual knowledge competition for middle school students sponsored by the TYME OUT Youth Ministry Center and the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Office of Catechesis & Youth Ministry.

The FAITH-A-THON consists of a series of games testing young people's knowledge of the Catholic faith, including scripture, doctrine, the commandments, sacraments, church history, etc.   Questions are based on the archdiocesan curriculum and the various religion textbooks used in archdiocesan schools and religious education programs. Teams consist of six 6th, 7th and/or 8th graders. Teams play a series of games, competing for the most points of the day.  The final game is a playoff between the highest scoring teams.

Preparation for the Faith-a-thon provides a great opportunity for young people to learn the basic facts of their faith, in a fun and engaging way.

The 2010 FAITH-A-THON will be held as two separate competitions:
Friday May 14, 2010
