Reconciliation Resources

The Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation is a key element of the New Evangelization. It evangelizes the evangelizers through a personal encounter with Christ and His mercy. The information and resources on this page support the Season of Lent and the celebration of the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation in the parish setting.

  • Reading Blogs and Watching Videos as a Lenten Resolution -- Catholics from throughout the Archdiocese are invited to pursue Lenten spiritual growth by reading the "Catholic ID" Video Blog and by watching the C4 Ignite Your Catholic Faith Videos.

  • Find a Confession -- Catholics from throughout the Archdiocese are invited to experience a personal encounter with the mercy of God through the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation.

Additional Reconciliation Resources

  • Faith Formation Resources -- resources related to reconciliation, forgiveness and mercy have been compiled for children, teens and adults.  These resources can be used  during the Season of Mercy or throughout the year.
  • Christ Have Mercy Parish Retreat -- Bill Huebsch from Pastoral Planning has developed a retreat which can be used by parishes during the Season of Mercy or any other time of the year.  This retreat and training materials are available in English and Spanish.
