The Pentecost Mission provides education and discernment programs aimed at adult Catholics who want to grow in the knowledge of their faith and deepen their relationship with God and the Church. This program offers foundational courses of the Catholic faith and was begun by the John Paul II Center in 2007.
The Saint Clare Center for Ministry Formation at Cardinal Stritch University took on the main responsibility for the Pentecost Mission in the spring of 2008. The John Paul II Center continues to collaborate with the Saint Clare Center in promoting the Pentecost Mission and other programs for lay ministers.

The Center is named for Saint Clare of Assisi, who, with Saint Francis, began the Franciscan tradition upon which Stritch is founded.
