Worldwide Marriage Encounter
Worldwide Marriage Encounter's mission of renewal in the Church and change in the world is to assist couples and priests to live fully intimate and responsible relationships, by providing them with a Catholic "experience", and ongoing community support for such a lifestyle." For over 100 years, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee has hosted a Jubilee Celebration for couples celebrating 25, 50+ and 60+ years of marriage. The celebration includes a Mass, with one of the bishops as the homilist and celebrant, special music, and a special blessing and reception. If you will be celebrating your 25th, 50+ or 60+ anniversary any time in 2019, you are invited to attend the next Jubilee Celebration on Saturday, October 12, 2019. Elizabeth Ministry is an international movement designed to support women and their families during the joys, challenges and sorrows of the childbearing years. The Elizabeth Ministry mission is to cherish children, encourage families and build community. We offer support, mentoring, educational materials, spiritual nourishment and inspirational resources. Elizabeth Ministry Chapters exist across the United States as well as in Canada, Europe, Asia and Central American countries. Retrouvaille is a ministry for hurting marriages. The program is offered in English or Spanish in 150 countries worldwide. Retrouvaille is a peer ministry, a ministry of hope. The team couples, by sharing their own lives, give other couples hope. What is important is that struggling couples are willing to work to keep their marriages going.
Retrouvaille is a ministry of the local church. In southeastern Wisconsin, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee has partnered with the diocese of Green Bay to endorse the program and to enable Retrouvaille to operate. Marriage On Tap
Marriage on Tap is a casual evening for couples and Priests interested in building a community that celebrates marriage and Holy Orders in the Church.
