Respect Life

"A society lacks solid foundations when, on the one hand, it asserts values such as the dignity of the person, justice and peace, but then, on the other hand, radically acts to the contrary by allowing or tolerating a variety of ways in which human life is devalued and violated, especially where it is weak or marginalized."

John Paul II, Evangelium Vitae no. 93

THE NAZARETH PROJECT AND RESPECT LIFE

The U.S. Bishop’s Pastoral Plan indicates four areas of Respect Life Activity:

  1. Public information and education
  2. Pastoral care
  3. Public policy
  4. Prayer and worship

The Nazareth Project provides resources and support for all areas of the Pastoral Plan, with the exception of public policy. For information on public policy and respect life activity, please visit the Catholic Social Justice Ministry Office.
